Baby Acne Clears Up On Its Own

Usually baby acne needs no treatment. Infants aging a few days may get baby acne and goes off when they are grown 2 months.

It appears as red or white bumps/spots, from the stage of delivery and caused due to hormonal changes inside the growing infant. Baby acne typically occurs on the face and chest.

Yale-New Haven Hospital, recommends not to use any lotions, ointments or creams when it typically appears on face and chest and stresses on keeping skin clean.

Consult a pediatrician, when the baby?s skin shows any big red or swollen spots.
